LIVING IN TWO WORLDS . . . |

A man
who is more than merely an entertainer — he is deeply
involved in “world service,” desiring to tour widely
for others to hear his music. He has over 196
registered musical compositions to his credit.
His soul, constantly involved in stimulating others to
greater beauty of what life truly represents, presents
a beautiful frequency that others can align themselves
with in harmony. Because his soul has a refined
sensitivity, his accomplishment is very elated and
stimulated in others who hear his music.
His soul is strongly connected with music. A full
member in the American Society of Composers, Authors
and Publishers (ASCAP), he knows how to deal with
words and certain universal rhythms so that his music
may bring forth much activity wherever he goes.
J.C.’s specialty is entertainment. Entertainment has
not only been his fascination, but his passion. He has
been a professional solo guitarist for many years, and
is equally proficient on the American Indian flute,
Indian drum and keyboard synthesizer. His music has
been described by others as simple elegance. |

Historically, music has been known as a form of
communication for Native American Indians — the beat of the drum,
perhaps the most familiar. Born of Cherokee parents in Oklahoma, the
heart of country music, J.C.’s earliest musical influences came from
his mother. Self-taught at 7, he began playing the guitar and later
studied with professional guitarists and gaining much on-the-job
experience.

Since, he has traveled coast-to-coast performing to
popular and critical audiences on college campuses, TV, and night
spots, and has appeared with top name headliners. High Eagle has
taken his music around the country and the world introducing it
to a wide variety of groups, museums, colleges, national parks,
festivals, special events, and yes, even symphony audiences! He
has performed with the Milwaukee Symphony, Milwaukee, Wisconsin,
and the National Symphony Orchestra at the prestigious John F.
Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.Not only
a performer, but also a song writer, his compositions of songs and
instrumentals range from country and western to folk and popular
ballads.
His career as a musician began in coffee houses to pay for college
expenses. A graduate from the Univ. of Oklahoma with a degree in
physics, he entered the space program and became a member of the
Apollo 11 control team that landed the first men on the moon.
Also, he received our nation’s highest civilian honor, the
Presidential Medal of Freedom, for his role in returning the
endangered crew of Apollo 13 safely to Earth. |

J.C. plays on the heart as well as the guitar, presenting his
songs and music as he feels from within. For all their simplicity,
his music and writing bubble with fresh ideas about
things-imaginative ideas about love, humor, a time, a place-things
in everyday life of the common man or woman. A committed musician,
he brings a new slant to C&W music with a new twist to old themes.
The sound of his guitar and heart-felt songs are sometimes a
blending of both traditional and contemporary melodies that
permeate the soul and cry for attention to be heard. High Eagle
has produced several successfully selling cassettes and CDs that
are currently being marketed and distributed throughout the
world. They seek to bring to the world something fresh and unique
yet “commercial” in music on a higher plane, that has not been
available heretofore.High Eagle was featured as a musician for
soundtrack music to the CBS television movie, “Walker, Texas
Ranger,” starring Hollywood actor Chuck Norris. |
