Lynn Anderson still has an incredibly powerful voice today, at the age of 60. If you ever get a chance to see one of her concerts ... go for it. You'll have a blast. She was, quite possibly, the most beautiful female country singer back in the day. Look at her gorgeous hair ... damn!

Tammy is a wonderful singer- anything she does is a winner. What a terrific soulful voice, none can compare.I do like Lynn, too, but her version of "Mansion on the Hill" is not a good choice I feel. She puts a little too much "hipness" in it . When Hank Williams recorded it there was a precious underlying feeling in it, as the words of the song require. I would love to hear one of the songs Lynn has yodeled. She is really good at that. Thanks for this great video of two wonderful singers.

"The Heart" what a beautiful song with nice words. Tammy does just a super job with it. She truly was the "First Lady" of country music

Sorry no disrespect to Lynn but no way can I agree with that...Tammy's voice was something special as she was...she wasn't called THE FIRST LADY for nothing...there will never be another to even come close to her

Lynn was actually a much better singer than Tammy - although you couldn't help but love Tammy Wynette!
