Thanks for your response. I heard about Dan Blockers death on 60 minutes. They said his character moved east, and did mentioned about his passing on the show.

Long story, but Roberts hated doing the show and left after his 6-year contract expired. Lorne Greene did everything he could to convince him to stay, but he wanted better roles. They said very little about his absence, but did say he was working on an ocean vessel of some kind.

Thanks for responding to my question. I really liked the TV movie made years later, with Michael Landons son, and Lorne Greene daughter appearing on it, and giving an explanation on what happened to the characters from the original series. |
