Where can we find your Bonanza fan fiction series? I'd love to read it -- I have such very, very fond memories of this show. I wish Pernell had never left the program -- or at least that Adam really did come back.

This television show, more than anything else in my youth, is what formed my moral compass. Watching these heartfelt tribute clips makes me realize just how much they genuinely meant to me and just how much I miss them now. To me and to millions of viewers they were family. Thank you for bringing "our" Adam home to his family, on behalf of the extended family of viewers.

Just thought I would point out that though Elizabeth was Adam's mother, and he cherished her name, it was Inger who raised Adam til he was about 6 or 7. Then Marie came into his life sometime after that until she died when Adam was about 17. Elizabeth died when Adam was born. Inger died shortly after Hoss was born. Marie managed to live until Joe was about 5 or so. So it makes perfect sense that Adam would have found memories of Inger and Marie, unless there was disfunction in the family.

I recall it being kind of drippy...sort of like a Little House on the Prairie epoisode when someone's wife or kid died from the fever or something. Dan's character's death wasn't explained and he was just briefly mentioned.
