GEORGE JONES - I AM WHAT I AM (1980)A1. He Stopped Loving Her Today2. I've Aged Twenty Years In Five3. Brother To The Blues4. IF DRINKIN' DON'T KILL ME (HER MEMORY WILL)5. His Lovin' Her Is Gettin' In My WayB1. I'm Not Ready Yet2. I'm The One She Missed Him With Today3. Good Hearted Woman4. A Hard Act To Follow5. Bone DryIF DRINKIN' DON'T KILL ME (HER MEMORY WILL)(Rick Beresford/Karl Sanders)The bars are all closed it's four in the morningI must have shut 'em all down by the shape that I'm inI lay my head on the wheel and the horn begins honkingThe whole neighborhood knows that I'm home drunk againIf drinkin' don't kill me her memory willI can't hold up much longer the way that I feelWith the blood from my body I could start my own stillBut if drinkin' don't kill me her memory willThese old bones they move slow but so sure of their footstepsAs I trip on the floor and I lightly touch downLord it's been ten bottles since I tried to forget herBut the memory still lingers lying here on the groundAnd if drinkin' don't kill me her memory willI can't hold up much longer the way that I feelWith the blood from my body I could start my own stillBut if drinkin' don't kill me her memory will

George Jones was a bad alcoholic but a great musician, he has this song and many more during the times they called him "no show"

Right..only a few of the originals left..that I can think of. George, Ray Price, Willie, Little Jimmy that are still doing music. There are a few "retired" still around..like Kitty Wells, Eddie Arnold (I thinK) and a few others. Country music will never be like it was...new country sucks, if you ask me!
