I just remembered- I read some where this song was one of Jims own favourites and I guess that's right because I've got at least 4 different recordings of it in my Jim Reeves collection! J.

I've been a fan of Jim Reeves since the 60's-I'm from Liverpool UK and even though I used to follow the Beatles I gave them up when I heard my first Jim reeves song-( Where do missing angels go) I was mesmerised by his voice and the beautiful steel guitar in the background- I guess this was my intro to country music- not a bad start! thanks for posting these great clips. J.

Jim's voice is just pure cool - soothing and relaxing. It's a little sad though. But as young as I am he is my favorite singer, always been since I heard him when I was 4 or 5. It's funy cause my friends don't even know him, their grandpas do though. They don't make singers like him anymore for sure.
