My parents took me to see and hear Gene Autry in late spring or early summer here in Richmond,Va. in 1953.I was short of being 6and loved to see him on TV.My brother was also with us but can't remember it.We had these small flashlights and flashed them when he told us.His horse Champion wasn't there.Loved "The Singing Cowboy."

How wonderful. Gene Autry has five stars on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame in all five catagories. Records, Radio, TV, Stage and Movies.
