I don't think we'll see the likes of Adam on the Ponderosa ever again, but I do think Adam Cartwright would make an awesome mayor of Quahog, Rhode Island. Adam West be damned!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for uploading this! I love Bonanza, but its very hard to find to watch. Adam and Joe are 2 of my fav characters, especially together!

Still, it's wishful thinking to want Pernell to return to Bonanza. Pernell is entitlted to his opinion, even though most people would disagree with him. I'm with you totally John.

That would be nice. But even if Pernell Roberts had been 20 years younger, he wouldn't have done it. He has refused to even discuss the show in interviews. He considered the show "pap". He's a great actor, and his contribution to the show was enormous, but I disagree about it being "pap". Even without him, I'd still like another Bonanza series.

LOL. There have been elderly men who managed to ride a gentle horse very very slowly. Lorne didn't ride his beautiful buckskin all that much towards the end. He rode in a buggy, stood on the ground and stayed in the house a lot. I like Adam's horse the best, the black gelding or maybe it was a stallion. Matt Dillon rode a stallion if I remember correctly. It had to be one very big and spirited horse to be able to gallop with James Arness on his back, all 6 feet 6 or 8 depending on what you read.

If they do a second sequel that would be cool but at 80 I do not think Pernell can ride a horse :( |
