Ray could ditch the suit and show up in jeans and work boots and sound just as good. What a great run he's had.

According to BILLBOARD, it was the bestselling country record of 1956.

Ray always did and always will ROCK. One of my all time fave country singers.

There is no words but fantastic as Ray's songs always are. Howard his back up vocalist is great also and adds to the song.

The Cherokee Cowboy is one of a kind. They do not record music like this today.

The original single of 'Crazy Arms' with all its innovation and unique sound has to be counted as one of the top ten country recordings ever made. Held its own against Elvis, too...without sounding citified like Singing The Blues or other country-pop hits of the time.

Your def right. They have no idea what country music even is. They think it's just something with cowboy hats.
